1) Check restoration for fit and desired shade. |
6) Using oil-free air, thin the primer. NOTE: The primer will not evaporate a visible wet layer should be present.Prepare the Tooth for Bonding |
2) Rinse restoration with water, dry and apply 6% HF porcelain etching gel to the interior or restoration for 90 seconds.
NOTE: Even though porcelain restorations typically are delivered from the laboratory etched, we recommend re-etching and re-priming the surface for optimum bonding. |
7) Apply dentin bonding system to prepared tooth.* Cement the Restoration |
3) Using oil-free air-water spray, rinse the etching gel from the restoration until all traces of red are removed. |
8) Mix the dual-cured adhesive resin cement, or light-cured cement pre the manufacturers directions. Load the mixed cement into the prepared restoration(s). |
| 4) Using oil-free air, thoroughly dry the bonding surface of the restoration. |
9) Gently seat the restoration on the preparation. Use a composite handling instrument to remove the excess cement. |
5) Open an ampule of Versa-Link using the supplied microbrush, apply a layer of primer to the restoration. Allow the primer to set on the surface of the restoration for 3-5 minutes. |
10) Light cure all facets of the restoration.
Note: Not included in the Versa-Link system. |
