Mixing and Placement:
- Use 1.5 parts powder to 1 part liquid for a mandibular denture, 1 part powder to 1 part liquid for a maxillary denture.
- Pour the liquid into the shot glass supplied with the kit.
- Pour the powder into the liquid and mix the 2 parts together quickly (just a few seconds).
- Cover the mixing container with a watch glass or something else that is solid.
- Allow the mixture to set covered 5-7 minutes.
- At about 5 minutes, check the mixture. A proper mixture for a maxillary denture should be like molasses. A proper mixture for a mandibular denture should be like soft butter.

- Apply the Hydro-Cast to the denture, working with one denture at a time.
- Trim the excess material with a heated spatula or Bard-Parker scalpel blade.
